• In 2018, the Elm Heights Elementary School Alumni Committee formed and raised funds to dedicate the Harmony Middle School Science and Art room (formerly Mrs. Daniels’s room) after Tom Showers Teter. Tom attended Elm Heights Elementary School and University High School (class of 1961). He passed away in 2014 after a distinguished career as a public high school science teacher. Founded from this successful and well-attended dedication, the Elm Heights Elementary School Alumni Committee has decided to launch an annual award to recognize and honor alumni who attended either Elm Heights Elementary School or Harmony School. Nominees should be an alumnus (identified as anyone who attended or worked at) of one of the schools who has demonstrated outstanding achievement, community impact, and inspiration to others.
  • The Extravaganza is Harmony’s annual community event offering plenty of exciting things to see and do! There’s sure to be something for everyone, and it’s a great way to catch up with the community. Activities include: carnival games with prizes, silent auction, bounce house, obstacle course, haunted house, face painting, live entertainment, food trucks, and community booths. This event is open to the public and takes place rain or shine.
  • The Harmony School Holiday Follies is a student (ages 3-18) designed Variety Show where students (and sometimes guests) create an original act and perform the act in front of over 450 people. Harmony students also run the lighting, sound and stage work for the show. The Follies give our students an opportunity to feel comfortable in front of an audience and be a star on stage! The Follies is a great example of Harmony’s emphasis on creativity and self-expression giving. Each year the Holiday Follies is taped by the local Community Access Television Services (CATS) and we have been told it is regularly one of their most requested programs for broadcast. Become a sponsor of this wonderful event and help us raise over $5,000 for our scholarship fund.
  • Donations to the Harmony Library Fund provide new books for classroom libraries and current materials for our teachers' curriculum.
