Monday, August 28th   Present proposal to staff
At McCormick’s Creek   - Ask who from the high school and middle school would like to serve as facilitators of the multi-aged groups for social action project
September 11th   Volunteer facilitators meet with social action committee after school to discuss their roles and responsibilities - another date will be offered too
September 12th   All students select which study group they’d like to join
September ??? Possibly September 12th

Tuesday 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

First meeting of Multi-aged Study Groups
Reading and Sharing of Critical Literacy (books that provoke important conversations) pertinent to topic
October 5th 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.

(this was changed to Thursday from Friday to accommodate Bloomingfoods who will offer lunch at noon to be eaten with multi-aged group)

Second meeting of Multi-aged Study Groups
Creating a Utopia - what could the world look like in terms of your topic in 100 years, 50 years, 10 years?

November 3 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Third meeting of Multi-aged Study Groups
Current Events related to topics Lunch offered by Bloomingfoods at noon to be eaten with multi-aged group
November 29th (Wednesday) after school meeting of facilitators and committee to discuss the designing of projects
December 1 10:00 until 12:00 a.m.

Fourth meeting of Multi-aged Study Groups - (lunch offered by Bloomingfoods at noon to be eaten with multi-aged group)
Design Project (this will require preparation ahead of time by facilitators and committee)

Suggestions: (ideas with * will be a part of social action day)
* design a panel discussion to be presented on social action day
* make illustrated stories to be displayed on social action day
* act out a play to be presented on social action day
* learn social action songs to teach to school
* develop a debate to be presented on social action day
do a play on the streets of Bloomington (including interviewing of audience)
* create an art project that could become permanent display at school or in community
* perform a social action project
* participate in opening or closing of social action day
