ECP Family Meetings
The Early Childhood Program gathers for a 10 - 20 minute Family Meeting
after cleaning up from our morning activity time, before going outside to play. Our goal is for Family Meeting to be a fun time where we come together as a community and learn to communicate respectfully with one another. We usually start by discussing the calendar, weather, and counting the kids present. After this routine, we frequently sing songs, read books or poetry aloud, and we often play group games that include number concepts. We may also talk about our current thematic unit or work together to solve problems of importance to the group as a whole. On Fridays we have Show and Tell.
