Spring Break!

Reminder: School will be closed March 12-16th for spring break.

The office will also be closed. 

  • Harmony School will be CLOSED Monday, March 12 – Wednesday, March 14 for floor stripping and waxing.There will be no access to the building on these dates.
  • There will be no yoga on Tuesday the 13th

Yoga with Matece Skow of Nourishing Heart Yoga

  • When- Tuesday mornings from 7:45-8:45 am
  • Where- the 1/2 small room
  • Cost- Free to all Harmony staff, parents and students

Reading Rhino Book Drive!

 

We are extending our book drive into the week of March 19th, so if you do a little spring cleaning over Spring Break, be sure to save those books you purge for us.

  • When- March 24th from 9am-12:30pm
  • Where- books will be sold at the Winter Market

 

Register for The 38th Annual Gene Flander Harmony School Golf Outing!

Writing Our Resilience 

A self-care retreat day for teens

  • When- 1 Day Retreat- March 25- 1-5pm
  • Who- Teens and Young women in middle and high school

Take time out to connect with other writers, refuel, and reflect on our creative lives.
We’ll use the safe circle practices of Young Women Writing for (a) Change to both pause and play. Facilitated by Beth Lodge-Rigal and Laura Lasuertmer.

Imagination Creation! 

  • When- April 8 & May 6 from 1pm-4pm
  • Who- Girls, grades 4-6

Through play, story and visualization girls in grades 4-6 will be invited to tap into their most creative selves. Themes will include Journey, Small Spaces, Garden of Your Dreams and Out of this World. Sign up for one or both! Facilitated by Laura Lasuertmer and Angi Sullivan

2018-2019 Enrollment Announcement

Please let us know if your child will NOT be returning for the 2018-2019 program year by March 19.

Parent Drivers

Please make sure your license and insurance info are up to date with the office before driving on field trips. We appreciate your help!

 

Tuition Reminders

Tuition payments are due on the 1st of each month, unless you’ve made special arrangements or paid ahead. Please remember your monthly payment is split into 12 months, so you should continue to pay through the summer months, unless you have paid ahead. This includes students who graduate in May.

 

Coffee Mugs, Forks, Bowls, and Umbrellas

Harmony needs donations of the before mentioned items.  If you have some you could spare, please consider making a donation.

 

Do you Crochet?

If you know how to crochet and are looking to pick up a couple of PIP hours, then do we have an opportunity for you! We are looking for hands-on help teaching upper-elementary and older kids basic crochet skills for an explorations class on Thursday, April 5, from 1 to 3. Free Community Tax Service 2018

  • Where – United Way

The Free Community Tax Service helps residents file their federal and Indiana tax returns for free 

 

Registration for Bloomington Baseball

  • Who- Kids aged 5-12years old

Handouts with additional information are on the table in Harmony’s main hall, outside the office

 

The Winter Market: Saturdays, Now – March 31st from 9:00AM – 12:30PM at Harmony School

 

Over 30 vendors offer a variety of produce, meats, eggs, dairy, soaps, flowers, plants,  mushrooms, honey, prepared foods, and holiday items. Come for breakfast, live music, and diverse selection of local vendors. . Winter Market is a dynamic experience for the whole family.
