My mornings begin with poetry performances and discussion for juniors and seniors in Literary Criticism. Students create their own waterproof anthologies as we splash around in the four waves of ancient, classical, modern and contemporary work. Second period Greek & Latin Roots class for sophomores and juniors begins a two semester etymological and general information tour of English. And then, Ninth Grade American English students (who are also my advisees)

begin a two semester class in vocabulary acquisition, grammatical and language mechanics skills and demonstrate their progress through weekly Friday tests.
During afternoon fifth periods, I offer Learner & the Learning Process for eighth grade through high school. Students view and write reactions to cutting edge documentaries, unusual films and biographies of notable visual artists. They also read and write a thoughtful and formal paper about either VOYAGE TO ARCTURUS or UNDER THE SKIN.
